Happy New Years to Youse! Yes, hold the line is good. My year hasn't been the best. It got considerable better at the end after finding gainful employment. One good thing to look back on is the friendships that I was able to grow stronger with some of the folks here on the forum. Having plenty of time on my hands allowed me to travel and visit quite a few guys from here. See thier boiler setups, trade boiler parts, and do what I like best, "talk coal". I do want to thank you all, you know who you are , for giving me a Happy Old Year. Thanks again! By the way, happiness is starting the New Year with a full coal bin :)

Happy New Year to everyone.
I was in fact drinking coffee when the ball dropped on tv at midnight. Got a better job last year, so far so good with it. Son came back home, with his wife and son where he belongs.
All in all......a fairly decent year.

I have no resolutions, just motoring along. Trying to stay afloat.

Happy New Year everyone and may 2014 be 100 times better than last.

Last night for NYE dinner I made steamed mussels in white wine with garlic, onion and jalapeno. Then after taking the mussels out of the steam I added some heavy cream, jack cheese, a few shrimp and the meat from a crab leg to the steaming liquid. Let sauce thicken a bit and served it over angel hair pasta. A slice or two of warm homemade crusty Italian bread with butter. Mmmmmmm a meal fit for a king (or at least me).

Didn't quite make it to midnight.
