I'll post something after the sun comes up... I woke up to 16* with a real feel of -2. We have 3 or 4 inches of snow down and probably some ice under that. We actually had a snow plow come down the street... that never happens. It's good day to stay in. Take care, Lisa

Lucky for us, Boston took the hit! Rightfully so ...

We've got maybe 5" out there if we're lucky. But, I did watch a Prius get stuck this morning ...

Got about 6" so far, they claim it's supposed to snow off and on till 1400. Got a call from my boss this morning. Two hour delay. I then looked at where I was going.

The job was 90 miles from home. With a two hour delay in starting which means, leave the house at 10 show up on site at 12 if I'm lucky work for two hours and then drive two hours home. Talked to several other techs in different areas and the consensus was the same, they preach safety and there are roads still unplowed and accidents.

Called him back. 'Yeah, I'm taking the day off.'

They told us yesterday not to come in. Can't really afford the day off but after checking out the DOT cameras and seeing their normal bang up job clearing the roads, I'm kind of glad they canceled. My life is worth more than the meager amount they pay me.

Just one question, when you have ice on the INSIDE of the windows, is that bad? :)

Hey Jeff, not to get to far off topic, but, you need to start your own business so you can get that pay scale up to where YOU think YOU'RE worth. Problem solved:) Just a thought

Rookie.

About half my picture window is frosted.

I guess it's to be expected when 40 year old single pane windows meet 70* air and a humidifier. :)

I would but the government in RI won't allow me to be self employed until I'm a "Master" which means I'm required to have about 8 years experience, several thousand hours of class time and oh yeah, pay them for multiple licenses and testing fees!
