I started burning Redding in my Hearth this year when my dealer didn't have his Blaschak in yet. Other than it being wetter I like it as well or better. Dealer says he was told it's the same mine as Blaschak. Who knows. Works for me.

Old harmony site coal is currently $170 ton bulk. They also sell bagged for $5.25 a bag

My 2 ton of Mid Valley Helfrick is still a bit of an iceberg in the bin so I cant see as to cleanliness, its just starting to hit the grate tonight it takes awhile to empty the Magnum if what I'm seeing is correct this is HOT Coal & long burning and I may have to back the feed off a bit. :D

My dealer said the same thing in regards to Blaschak being of the same mine as Reading, to paraphrase Cheech and Chong, "looks like Balschak, feels like Blaschak, smells like Blaschak, and even tastes like Blaschak." Ok time for breakfast.

I'm burning the DiRenzo coal now.
Much less ash. Using a Col-Trol I had to back off my max feed 10.
No more Glen Burn-Harmony for me.
I think this is the best coal I ever had.
Will be returning to DiRenzo this week for more.
