I've got a hot blast 1357, burning anthracite nut coal, running 350-400 over the feed door with magnetic thermometer, I would run no hotter than 600, but can heat my house in upstate NY at only 350-400
Stoker Coal Boiler: 1984 Eshland S260
Coal Size/Type: anthracite pea
Other Heating: oil furnace
