Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, but have been reading some of the posts off and on for the last few months. I have an old coal stove that belonged to my grandmother in KY. My mom remembers burning coal in it to heat their house as a kid. I've got it now and have some plans to get it cleaned and up and running in my house at some time in the future. Probably won't use this for any serious heating of the home (I'm in Georgia, not too cold here and the stove is small), so it will mostly be for used for fun.
Anyways, I'm trying to identify this stove to learn more about it, but haven't been able to turn up any info on it. The front lid says "DIANA 380". Not sure if that's a make/model or just the model of the stove. Either way, none of my searches/inqueries really come up with any useful info. I thought maybe some of you guys in the northern area of the country would know more about stoves than anyone will down here. Has anyone heard of a stove like this? Pics are attached.
Many thanks!
Stove Identification
I believe that type of stove is called a laundry stove. It had a wide top so a tub of water could be heated on it. Type laundry stove on the search bar in the upper right corner of this screen. I do believe you will find it under Laundry Stove.

That certainly helps narrow it down a bit. Made some quick searches on this site and the web and wasn't able to pull up anything on the manufacturer. I did see a lot of stoves very similar in design so that's reassuring that I'm on the right track. Has anyone heard of this manufactrurer?blrman07 wrote:I believe that type of stove is called a laundry stove. It had a wide top so a tub of water could be heated on it.
