Great work Scott - the stove looks fabulous!!

I haven't had much time to follow the forum this summer. I'm preparing an 1820 Cape house to be moved onto our NH property to replace the dilapidated carriage shed we tore down last week.

I have a Nov 1st deadline to remove the house from my neighbor's across the road, or I will loose it. My wife and I are real excited, but I'm exhausted from working all Spring/Summer 7 days a week!

But, we think it will be worth the pain.

Regards - Chris

I think I came in yesterday a little tired and with a poor attitude. Let me start off by apologizing to William for singleing you out and to Scott for the attack on your character. And to the rest of the guys here on this great forum.

Hi Chris.....thanks, but Brandon and Emory deserve the credit....I just worked the O/T to buy it.

You should start a thread about that house move and post pictures. Especially with your stoves installed!

The new mistress is ready to burn. Just have to paint the exhaust black (per wifey) put the clean out cap on and let her rip.

The first cool weekend we get I'll open all the windows and burn off the paint.

I'm going to try wait until November 1 for regular ops. For the past 15 years, this is around the time the oil heat comes on overnight. The thermostat is set at 65. When it triggers the furnace I'll start the stove.

Lol! My chimney is drafting good right now and it's 78* ......maybe I'll run it sooner!

Hope the surgery goes well Fred. I can tell you I'm doing great afterward and you will too.

Cheers,

Looks real good Scott. Agree the pipe should be black to match.

Better back that furniture up and get ready for some serious heat output ! :D

Is that Blaschak all stove coal ?

I think it's only gonna take a bag or two of that 9600 pounds to remove even the slightest remnants of doubt ! ;)
