-4 here this morning waiting for the school bus with my little guy. My son looked like the kid in "Christmas Carrol" and I had on a sweat shirt and flannel pants
I had to shut down the stove in the living room so I could fire up the one in the basement, time to clean the V.C. Can't fire'em both, someone will call child protective services seeing all my windows open :P

Wow, aure is chilly in NY & OH.... The zero we have seems warm! But, it's fierce windy & it's colder than Eskimo snot outside. Brrrrrr. I had my electrician buddy here today & we had to spend 10 minutes outside while he wired the new generator outlet (inlet?) Prepping the wires is a bare hand job. I got my Map gas torch & wafted it about 1 foot & half from his hands. At first he was "What?" Then he was "Wow, That helps a lot!"

PS... now that I have the new generator all wired & the transfer interlock done I have all but guaranteed that we will never lose power again! We did a full live test..... it works!

90 freakin mile an hour wind coupled with -8 temps last night kept momma up all night worried. First time the Mark III couldnt keep up. House got down to 63. Had to rummage closets to find the Edenpure and Flick on the new electric fireplace. All better now but god I cant wait till I get this Boiler install in gear. :(
