What's the plumber needed for?

New motor is your only choice...Grainger.

Perhaps it is just a fuse. Pull out the fuses in the two red fuse holders and have a glance at them (or continuity test them). Is Grainger open on Saturdays, and is there one near you? I believe the AHS fan motors are Marathon B317's, but this Granger motor might just drop right in:

Here is a B317 for comparison:

The motor was already rebuilt once last year, it over heats and blows the capacitor...it needs replaced. closest grainger Ill have to figure that one out, also don't have a gear puller to get the fan off the shaft

if a local plumber had a replacement that wouldve been the quickest fix

closest grainger is 2 hours away

this is the motor

You location is listed as central Pa. That's a pretty big area. There might be a forum member close to you that could help or loan you some stuff if we knew where you lived. A town would be helpful.

Autozone or the like will have a loaner puller. Will the motor on the old washing machine ,thats over in the hedgerow, fit ? There is a solution; you have to look carefully weedhopper.... :ugeek: Sorry, Im just a wee bit giddy this am, I got my heat problem fixed. Is the ahs factory any where nearby? Or maybe a dealer showroom that might sell you one out of a floor model? Is it similar to an oil burner motor, theres a lot of them out there.

My fan motor is a Marathon B317. My AHS S130 was built in October of 2009.

Do you have a belt drive fan or the direct drive fan?
