Busy the past year

Busy the past year

PostBy: Coalfire On: Sun Jan 26, 2014 10:09 am

I have not been posting as much the past year, and here is the reason why This little bundle of joy came into our lives on January 25 2013. Neither my wife or I can believe how fast the past year went. Like everyone that already has children knows they do grow up fast. Here is a pic of little Isabel enjoying her birthday cake on her 1st birthday yesterday.

Stay warm everyone, Eric

Congrats on making it through the first year.... It is an awesome experience.
Big milestones in my parenting experience.....
when the kid learned to blow their nose, i hated that suction thing, how do you ever clean it out?
when the kid could communicate to tell us what ailed them....i hated the guessing game to figure out what is causing this latest batch of fussing...is it teeth, gas, hunger, dirty diaper, general annoyance, wanted the channel changed, etc.

By the way....you need to work on your parenting skills....that kid is not messy enough with a cake sitting that close by.... i thought you were supposed to take the kids hand and press it into the icing and then wipe it on their forehead....repeating until they learned to do this on their own!? :D

Speaking from Experience like the others...

I think on about 3.5 years of age things got much much easier! My daughter could do pretty much everything for herself etc. She is 5.5 now.

Communication was huge! When they are able to tell you or at least point to things that hurt or what they need or want! YES! heh.

Good luck in the next year! eventually it does get alot easier!

This year has been busy but not much trouble. Isabel has been a very good baby from what we have been told by others. She has slept through the night since we brought her home from the hospital, nursing and feeding came easy for her, and she always seems very content. she is starting to walk and getting into the cupboards. I think her having such a great mother is what made this last year go so smoothly.

Time warp...
The twins are 19 months...
the newest is 7 months...
The twins are helping now with the 'baby'...
I thought it was hard with the twins...
but glad we had them first...
because it made #3 a cake walk...
still 3 under 2 keeps us busy...
but thay are very well behaved...
The looks on other peoples faces is great...
I am glad they were so close together...
The youngest is trying to be a triplet...
She has almost caught up in weight 18 vs 24 lbs...
Once she can walk and talk the real fun begins...
