Another Circulator Question

Another Circulator Question

When a secondary circulator activates, plumbed with close set t's, does the flow rate in gpm of the primary circulator get added into the flow rate in gpm of the secondary?

Hologram of Dr. Lanning: I'm sorry, my responses are limited. You must ask the right questions.

Alrighty, Dr., I'll try again.

I run my primary 24/7. When one of the secondary's kicks on, is the flow additive in that line, or is it just the secondary circulator pumping? The tee's are located less then 12in apart.

IF INDEED - You have isolation, of each circuit(s) in this question = via correctly configured close spaced tee's

then you have isolation and pumping of the isolated zone will/should have no effect on its mate - because that zone is "isolated" via connection

or some such B/S

Maybe Ill have to get back to you on that - The second always correct answer :D

Isolation is good, no ghost flow into the secondaries ever.

Reason I ask is two fold:

1) Secondary circulator, on reflection, appears to be a tad small, and
2) What's the web address for that avatar pic? ;)
