WOW, I am wiping the drool off my face. I wish people posting these stoves would show the condition of the insides, they are just as important as the outside.

This stove appears to be in great condition...at least on the outside.

I hope a member is close these don't pop up that often for this starting price, someone can walk away with a beautiful base burner for a grand or so!

Really? Over a grand for that stove in that condition? I know they're desirable, and rare, and cost a ton more when restored. But $1500 for one that looks like that? If the chrome is visibly rusty, I wonder what the photos aren't showing. What does the rest look like in real life? I thought a starting price of $7-800 would be more realistic. But I haven't followed this particular model.

7-800 hundred could be the ending price, and a 40 dollar buffing wheel from Harbor Freight and she will look brilliant, most of the crap on her is dust and the blue paint looks awesome for a hundred plus years. So if the paint is original and looks that good I would doubt the inside is worse for ware.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's a beautiful stove. I especially like all the glass on it. But it looks like a bunch of the panes are broken out of it. I can't imagine where you would even go for replacements. As with other parts of the stove that may need attention. Even a freshen up would undoubtedly be costly. Of course it would depend on what you want the final outcome to be. I'm curious to see how long it's listed, and what it sells for. Has there ever been one like it recently available, in used condition?
