Going for this one tomorrow. http://york.craigslist.org/for/4834174251.html

Never heard of a King O Heat before so I did a search. Found a post where William guru of the BB's said these are common in mid Atlantic states. The photo's I found all were the stove itself without the grill work around it. Kinda looks like a warm morning stove. Talked it down to $85. The difference will cover the gas to get it.

It's going in the house of one of the ladies that goes to my church. She is currently heating with portable electric heaters. She has an inside brick chimney so it should do just fine.

2 hour run tomorrow morning. Hope the snow holds off until I can get that stove in the back of the truck. It's kinda squirrely without some weight in it in the best of conditions much less in snow. In snow it's just plain silly.

Got my fingers crossed it doesn't affect you. If it does, and gets slippery, make sure you tie that thing down, right behind your cab. Have fun, and good luck.

Thanks Joeq....I got enough rope in the back of the truck to where even if it went dirty side up what ever we tie in will stay there!!!! I'll snap some pics of the install on a different thread.

This is an Oak style stove and it would burn coal but it is not a baseburner. You could have ordered a back pipe for it for return flue.

I thought it was missing some of the skirt and upper ring until I saw the picture you posted.

I wonder what model.? It looks exactly like my 513, (only dirtier). My 513 is 3' exactly at its widest point on the skirt/hood.(Not 3'6"), but the height is the same. Does the 713 look the same? The price doesn't do my stove any good. :(

Its a 713, wider, but no deeper.

I paid 200 for my 513 and put another 100 in parts into it, so no tears here, hope someone in LI can get it and enjoy it.
