A Glenwood #6 base heater on eBay. Says it's in Berlin, Connecticut. $1500.00 and looks like most of the nickel plating has been redone. Can't see what condition the grates are in. If anyone is interested, I'd recommend requesting clear pictures of the grates before bidding.

Keystoker boiler, best offer.
http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/grd/5626524813.html

Looks like it's a K-6. From the photos it's hard to tell if it has 3 grates or 4. Comes with an extra stoker. If your looking for a coal stoker boiler, you could likely get this one for a couple hundred bucks, maybe less. It's ugly and rusty but I doubt if anything is really wrong with it.

If you go to look at it, first check that the DHW coil area isn't rusted out. That is the one thing that would kill it for me. The only other things that could be wrong with it are the hopper and the stoker, easy to fix or replace those parts.

Yes Sir, it's in my neck of the woods and I appreciate your thinking of me. I'm not into boilers though, so I'll pass on this deal.

I will add though.......judging by the price he wants for the coal, I'm willing to bet it's set up for the 'Big Vein' bituminous coal that Cobra Mining is selling down in Barton, Md.

Glenwood Modern model 508 E kitchen range in Vermont. $500.00 http://vermont.craigslist.org/atq/5627375256.html

The Model E is one of the larger oven ranges.

Top plates don't look over heated, cracked, or warped.

Plus, the shaker handle visible on top of the range is the correct type for the triangular coal grates, so this range might be set up for coal ????

Yah, it sure does. I don't remember every hearing of a "Frederick Stoker" before.

Hmmm, I think an Iron Fireman unit has been stuffed into the base... so where does the ash empty? There is a lot of heat into the loading door except that is not here you would load an IF. The only thing that has made less sense is Sam explaining the world. So has an IF unit been stuffed into a boiler where the ash pan was?... Rube Goldberg would be proud. Come on europachris, explain it to me.

Oh Mike, you are a riot in the summer. :D :D Soooo, all that soot it is a small wood burner???? ... South of the MD line and they are all nuts down there. If you wanted the IF unit then it may be worth it just for that. Hmmmm.
