Just a suggestion - we should start posting screen shots of Craigslist ads, since they can disappear without warning. That way we could enjoy the pics and ads years down the road.

Snipping tool > save as picture > upload to forum. :)

That's not directed at you M.A. - just the thread in general.

Is this stove missing the bonnet or bonnets that sit above the doors? If not is it worth a look?

If I was close enough I would throw 5 bills on the table, take it home and be happy and maybe someday locate the bonnet :)

Yep... That's the super deluxe jet pack incinerators for the model 44
It's actually just a blower shroud for the model 44 (it generally came with a variable or 2 speed fasco blower) , it's rare on a 44 only because those blowers were so expensive it typically brought a buyer into the budget of a 404 or chubby, etc. ( those who got 44s with blower options generally had space limitations which is why, even though they had the money...they went with the 44),

If it has an original variable speed fasco .... The blower is adaptable to many stoves including all cranes and costs about $300 today (just for the blower).... Amazing how much useless knowledge I have
