Come on Don, back me up . The $50 " Brilliant Sunshine" I bought is missing it's footrests, sooooo if this one would sell for $600 I can have the footrests recast.

The money I save will help offset the divorce attorneys fees if the wife finds out :D

It's only about 40 hour round trip from the Morgantown general area, so I am sure a little R&R in Orlando will help him relax. I will be in West Palm Beach next week and if the stove is a bust I can spare a few antidepressants to help him get home. However, he has to travel that first 160 miles to get to WPB on his own. It will make the 10 hour trip just to get out of Florida easier to take. Someone else on this board has to be on suicide watch for a week. :chop:

Watch out that Route 1 does not have any brush fires, the last time I went to Marathon it took 7 hours just to get to Key Largo. You can take a break there as there are nice hotels this time of the year at around $400 a night.

If your taking a busload for spring activities then luckily your guide to the keys is right here. Just before Big Pine Key is Marathon. Turn left at Key Colony beach and drive to the end of the road. You see the huge apartment complex that is stuffed with sex hungry octogenarians and you can meet them on the beach there as they sunbath naked. They might even find a coachload of pale PA coal burners a hot catch. Let me know when you are going and I will make a call. :D

If anybody seriously wants the stove in the keys . I have a good buddy that lives on big pine that is a welder and marine contractor that would go give it a look and he will likely for a small fee drag it back to VA in the spring.......

...this could be the latest model Vigilant ll 2310 model, a true coal burner no kit!...and as we have learned discontinued. Hopefully someone scoops up this modern "almost" base burner. ;)

It's hard to see but it appears not to have the bottom ash door between the legs, which would make it the preceding model. On the other hand it does have the narrower ash lip of the 2310.

...and the longer legs! :woot: you're right about trying to see if it has the swing out ash pan with all the stuff piled around it.

I looked at the picture real hard before I displayed it here, and I just couldn't tell for sure. but if you look real close at the inside of the left front leg, just beside that little blower........
