Would anyone have an interest in a door for the 520's that had a glass insert in it? Im thinking of making a pattern and having one cast at the place all the baseburner guys are getting their stuff done; Tomahawk? I think . It seems that it might be cheaper for more than one copy.

Would you have to pay for patterns? They are very expensive.

im sure I can make the pattern , I just need to find out what is required. What would be the best type of glass? Too ,can any one tell me what the prong thing on the top left of the door is for and should it be eliminated? If there are any suggestion for improvements , they need to be ironed out.

The prong is there for the oil burner safety switch. It shuts down the burner if you open the door. If you don't burn oil, you don't need it.

How is the glass firedoor project coming? You can add me to the "interested" list.
