A very annoying "related Searches" box is now showing up on the left side of my screen. I can close it by clicking the 'x' in the upper right, but as soon as I go to another screen it appears again. I am using Firefox as a browser and have pop ups turned off there as well as running Pop Up Stopper. It just started the last day or so.

Does anyone know where the 'on /off' button is for this related searches "feature" is located??

I was searching through the add ons for a solution for you, it seems it was a function that got turned on when an update or such occurred. I think it may have something to do with one of the toolbar or search functions. Like Google or Yahoo. They are always trying to take control by sneaky means if you download something and miss the opportunity to NOT download and install them. Check your setting with your toolbars.....I know how maddening it is.

Nothing to do with this site, as already mentioned it's from a toolbar or something else you have installed.

Is there a "T" in to top left corner? If so directions for removal here:

didn't mean to imply it was related to this site....i was just wondering if someone else here had ever had to deal with it or something similar.
i finally tracked it down and deleted it. I think it was part of a google chrome install. one of those parasite's that get loaded unless you uncheck some tiny box that you can barely see. It was some adware site tracking crapiola.

both it and google chrome are goners.

Yes, that is how they get in. You get in a hurry and they sneak god knows what into your system. I absolutely hate it. Been there and done that!

You never know, don't be afraid to ask. I'd rather someone ask than have something wrong with the site especially if it was spewing malware.

Webcake?? :funny: That's got bad news written all over it .... :D

I had similar issues when I updated Java and my Flash Player b/s. Had to revert back to older versions. Very annoying. Got straightened out somehow on the next update.

Friggin computers ..... :x
