More delays for employer mandate....AND

To qualify you must certify you haven't fired employees to get under the threshhold.

http://www.accountingtoday.com/news/Tre ... 572-1.html

Businesses that employ between 50 and 99 full-time workers have until 2016 to comply with the employer mandate to provide health insurance. Those that claim the exemption for 2015 will need to certify under penalty of perjury that they did not reduce their workforce to fewer than 100 employees in order to qualify.

They need to just get rid of Obamacare. I just did my taxes and I was shown what my penalty would be for not having insurance; it was $2100. Luckily I have insurance. I HATE this administration. This tool is by far the absolute WORST president I've ever had the displeasure of seeing; and I've only been alive long enough to see 4.5 presidents. I was an infant during the tail end of Carter's administration. But I'm pretty sure William Henry Harrison's 30 day term as president was better than Der Fuhrer Barack "I dislike America" Hussein Obama and Harrison died right after his inauguration. Hell, I'd gladly take Franklin Pierce over this jackass and he helped start the Civil War.

No, but with a solidly Democrat dominated Senate, there is nothing that can effectively be done. Lawsuits would take 3 years to reach the Supremes. Obama is showing up the blatant weaknesses of our system by which it has always been assumed that the three branches would play by the rules, and he is laughing while he is rubbing it in our faces. Although he swore to do so on oath, he is not in office to uphold and defend the Constitution, but rather to bring it down. How else do you bring change to a system that is by its very nature intended to be rather fixed and rigid and unchangeable (sans with the authority of 2/3 of the States via the amendment process)?

You either make a boat load of cash or you need a new accountant.

https://www.healthcare.gov/what-if-some ... e-in-2014/

The penalty in 2014 is calculated one of 2 ways. You’ll pay whichever of these amounts is higher:

1% of your yearly household income. The maximum penalty is the national average yearly premium for a bronze plan.

$95 per person for the year ($47.50 per child under 18). The maximum penalty per family using this method is $285.

Went to H&R Block because the accountant we used to use is an idiot. I wish I made a ton of money. I'm not sure how it was calculated. I'm assuming per person in my house.

There are four in my house, myself included. So, $285 x 4 is $1140 about. Not sure where they get their numbers from. All I know is its time to get rid of Obamacare, Obama and the IRS.

No, I mean four members in my household. Me, my wife and our two kids. I'm assuming that's how these jackwagon's look at it. 'Ooh..we can nail him for how much he collectively makes with his wife then bend him over the table and rape him on how many live in the house!!!'

It's too bad for them I have insurance so they can take their penalty and shove it up their ass.

It just dawned upon me that when the Constitution was written Senators were appointed by the States, and not elected by the people. That is why Senators were given the job of prosecuting Presidents who had been impeached. The States were in charge back then. But now that the Senators are elected by the people, there is no longer any State involvement in the impeachment process, and the Senate is no longer beholden to its direct responsibilities to the States that they purportedly represent. We should go back to having each States legislators appoint their States Senators. Hopefully then they would be capable of more honestly and properly prosecuting an impeached President.

I don't think you read what JPete left for you. It states $285 for a family of four, the way I read it.

I know. I was just trying to figure out how H&R Block came to that conclusion. Even if I doubled up and charged a penaly per person in my house it still doesn't come out to what they said.

Yeah, we were looking for another "person" to do our taxes since the one we've used for years has become completely incompent. I didn't really want to use H&R Block but we couldn't find a guy who anyone had any good things to say about.
