And there just happens to be one listed on Craigslist in Centre Hall, Pa. . Listed price is a little high at 450.00 though as it needs a clutch..

Thanks, SWPadon! I just might have a free beat up old tractor available to me. I have to go take a look.

Roger that. I can get a 10 cubic foot dump cart from tractor supply for $129.00. That would work to lighten the bucket carrying load.

Yes it would.
After you get the cart, take the bed off, put the on the garden tractor, get an electric over hydraulic cylinder, fabricate handlebars with a throttle cable attached, and add the single swivel wheel that you also purchased at TSC, and you have your homemade coal mover that looks like a DR machine.

Hello JeepinPete,
The furnace blower wil not work for the same reasons a
shop vac used as a blower would not work as it is only
designed to move air not solids.
Using Black PVC pipe would work well with a leaf blower,
PVC T, Fernco coupler, a box or bucket.

Funny you should mention that. When I was schlepping the 50 pound bags to the basement, I put them on the kids toboggan. 250 pounds per load. I rode on top of it down the hill to the basement! YeeHaaaw!

Great idea! I have an old rototiller I don't use anymore. Add another set of wheels and I'm off!
