Cover everything in masking tape that's going to be coated with body filler. It will still be a pain in the ass to get off but will release clean.

Large castings with MASS are where you will find the most shrinkage. Thin castings don't shrink as much. Think cannon ball, it will shrink more than a hollow or thin casting due to its overall mass.

Hey guys. I'm taking pics of all the parts for the back pipe to send to Tomahawk. I'll need to know how many of each part we're going to need. Is the sheet metal pipe itself just regular 6" pipe gently bent to an oval? The time change is kicking me in high gear... Let's do this!! :0
