Coffee 3-1-14, in like a lion

The WORST thing and the BEST thing I ever did was to by the farm I'm living at now.

I had plenty of stuff 'stored' at the previous house, had a 6 car garage [never kept a daily driver inside, ever].

Then I bought this place.. A crappy run down old farmhouse. A one year old 40'x60' pole barn with 15' ceilings, with water and electricity. I added the heated concrete floor, the very first thing done on the farm.
There are several other barns..

and.. now I'm out of room... so I'm adding on.. more car and toy storage..  :D

Ok, I was trying to tease our weather into 'thinking spring'.. maybe it worked, it is a beautiful sunny day today, but still below 32*..

So for reality's sake: here is a more recent photo..
The current snow piles are enormous, I've stacked snow beside and in front of the big wheel-loader. The melt off should head away from the construction and down into the swamp..
I definitely have more snow to move away from the construction site.

only a light dusting: about 3" of snow.. We've had over 78" I think, about 24" still on the ground
