Hamden Bob,

I'm glad at least one person caught this. This is a bullsh*t post by someone who has one topic and post and hasn't been back since the first topic. All he's doing is trying to stir the pot.

As far as water contamination from a dump site of fly ash .. I look at that this way it don't matter what the material was that caused the contamination it could have been garbage newspaper potatoes plastic whatever it obviously was illegally dumped there or said company had a permit to dump it there and appropriate action will be taken toward responsible party .. The material has nothing to do with it ...

I could care less what the EPA deems as hazardous waste, I'll continue to fill the holes in my drive and the private dirt road I live on, no one is invited on my property to investigate anyway.

In the forum world there called troll's,maybe they(not sure if it's male or female) are or maybe not but it sure seems like the case.
As far as the EPA is concerned I will keep burning coal until I can't buy it any more but If I sense It's coming to that I will buy a few TT loads for the future. Keepaeyeonit ;)

you won't need to wait that long, just google " bacon " bourbon, vodka or whatever you prefer, you'll find plenty.

I think we can all see the OP is a troll but he did bring up a good topic of discussion in that I would not put it past the current administration to do something like this.

I'm sure there is a czar of home produced coal ash that has already formed a 20 member Congressional Comm. on just this pressing issue & in short time (DC time) we will all receive a 20Kpage document for our review or at least perhaps our great, great grandchildren will.

well thanks for the response on this and put to rest, I am no mole. Just a retired bus mechanic that has used a coal stove for 35years. I enjoy the heat from it and now wonder if like age, things change and is my cost going up.
I now running my own business sole proprietor and this takes time, sorry not able to hope right back into this group,

Now I need to find out the difference on fly ash and bottom ash I just put it out with the trash every week.
I read the hazardous waste article, then read the EPA wood stove article. The requirement for wood stove and what I have to do now if I get one. I decide to find out what the hell is going So I found this group should have know with the internet there is a informational group on everything.

thanks for the info Jack

What are ya payin for coal? If you start believing all the EPA crap that's floatin around out there, ya mights well crawl in a hole & die my friend! Just sayin :)

Nah I don't think any single President can destroy our country and it's core beliefs, though this one is surely giving it a good go. I'm more concerned of the up coming generations that are being indoctrinated into the ultra lefts way of thinking, I believe this will eventually rid us of of our freedoms and government will be in every aspect of our lives to include how we heat our homes.

jhenryw49, Don't take being labeled a "troll" personally. I'm sure you know, maybe not, that on every board there are instigators apposed to a certain subject, in this case burning coal. It usually starts with a new member with his first post being a controversial topic then diapering instead of a wave hello to the new forum he has just joined, You can see where this group would become skeptical of your OP. Besides we have old curmudgeons like Fred on here that can be, lets say abrasive. :D :P
