Local Coal Mine Accident

PostBy: Breakerboy On: Tue Mar 04, 2014 5:52 am

D&F deep mine in Cass township Pine Grove Pa apparently had a roof collapse yesterday according to local news a few miners involved but no serious Injury reported , thank god .. But life flight was on scene ...
I never heard of that Operation before I wonder if they sell to public ?? It's hard to find a deep mining operation that sells to public ..

I am surprised there is a deep mine still in operation. I have read on here from the insiders in the coal mining business that UAE was the last of the deep mine operations.

Yeah, me also.. But obviously had permits because news said inspectors were there week or two prior to incident to do inspection.. I heard good things about coal from that area and would be interested in trying some deep mined coal from there if they sell to public.. I will do some research on the mining operation as I'm local to the area and report my findings back to u guys if u like..
