Woke up today hyfire was out just sitting there blowing cold air..... not really sure what happened there the power didnt go out checked my clocks none blinking. I know scientific way to check that huh! All the cords still plugged in coal still on grate checked hopper still coal there.

Blower motors running and the combustion fan running
Coal trol settings:
Day time 78
68 degrees current temp
Setup:min was 6 upped to7
Max was 39 upped to 40

Normal if the FR is high when lighting. Try temporally lowering the set point temp about 10* below room temp and let the FR get to around 30 or less before lighting; Once things are leveled out it will be good. It just does not know how much coal is on the grate and sees that the temp is behind for a long time so it will feed at max rate.

Ok will try the temperature set back next time it's all levied out and running fine now the feed rate was at 99 after I lit the stove. When I get back home I'll take some more pics but the coal tool is mounted on a board inside wall

You can also just leave it on min in the setup menu. Thats what the feeder will run.
