Yikes....

http://gma.yahoo.com/delta-plane-loses- ... ories.html

So after reading this article this morning about a Delta plane losing some wing panels mid-flight i now gotta adjust my pre-boarding routine questions to include not only....

Does the Pilot and/or co-pilot live in Malaysia and do they have a flight simulator at home?

Has the flight crew and mechanics inspected the plane for any loose wing panels?

Especially since I am boarding a Delta flight in about 3 hours!! :eek2:

I'm surprised it could stay aloft in that condition.

Did Malaysian Airlines 370 disappear using SIA68/SQ68 (another 777)?

Just got to work and shared with two crews. Both said it sounds good and if they knew what 777 to tailgate ahead of time, with some planning, they could have the autopilot match speed and altitude to tailgate it with no issues.
