Yeah, I know.. now they say it climbed to 45 k feet, what for? to kill the passengers? The more info that comes out the more bazaar this story becomes.

No clue...I think even with their high pressure O2 masks on, whoever was flying, would suffer from hypoxia sooner rather than later at that altitude, if the aircraft was de-pressurized.

Actually they said that the type of radar is use in the military sector did not do elevations well, and that the last satellite pings were from 29500 feet, much closer to the actual altitude probably.

This speculation sequence sure doesn't look at the facts much......shoulda, coulda, woulda. It would be nice to know, but you can be damned sure it was initiated by someone who had control of that 777. Aren't those Rolls-Royce engines on the 777? Their equipment could NOT be turned off as were the transponders, etc. :?:

The altitude number I read was from RR.

That 777 had RR Trent 800's

RR monitors lots of it's engines world wide in real time.

The thing that gets me is that the longer this goes, the more little details come out.

Seems like no one wanted to reveal what they monitor in either military or commercial radars or via satellite. Only when they have to justify why they are moving the search area do they reveal why they are doing so.

And as the black helicopters are circling the house, you can't convince me they there are not spy satellites from multi countries hovering all over the planet. It just that no one wants to revel the details. Oh *censored*, the trees are moving strangely, I think 1 just landed. Gotta go..................

After years of contemplation, for the last 3 or 4 years I have been hesitantly plotting the changing locations of the man-hole covers on my street during the spring thaw! :shh:

If say a group of passengers got together & tried to retake control of the plane what better way to stop them than a couple of maneuvers that will throw them around & possibly kill many?

Either way at this point I hope the passengers are safe or went quickly and are not suffering somewhere. This whole situation is almost unbelievable in this day and age of technology.

You don't just loose something like a 777...
It is being 'hid' by 'someone' who has a lot of pull...
It will be 'found' once it's intended purpose has been finalized...
A simulator in his house...
Don't those go for some serious coin...
And 777 simulators are not surplus yet...

You can't equate available technology here with everywhere else & not all available technology is applied technology, it cost money that some don't have, claim to not have or just won't spend so they have more for their bonuses. :(

His "simulator" consisted of three LCD screens, a PC with flight sim software, a desk and chair.

Actually, a PC based flight simulator with multiple screens and plug and play yolk, rudder pedals and radios are reasonably inexpensive and can be very sophisticated and realistic. A couple grand will give you everything except a cockpit that moves. I played with Microsoft flight simulator flying a Cessna 172 SP. I went out to the airport and took a lesson with a flight instructor. Nailed the landing on my first try even though I had never actually flown that plane. Simulator very good for training.

That is why I like the forum...
It ain't just coal...
Any more info on the DD 20 IBM folks...
I did like the ARC of probable location...
I go for the northern location...
Lots of countries that could use a 'Lone Wolf 777'...
