Forecast is rain to just a dusting of snow here. We do mostly rain here as it is easier to shovel!

Just finished plowing the driveway. Bare in some spots, 4' drifts in others. No clue how much snow we got, but the radio says 18". My F350 with a ton of coal in the bed did a great job.

Just saw the report that Rockwood got 17" as of 0700 this morning and webcams are sti showing it coming down strong.

Damn I wish I had the time and money to get back up there for some more riding.

Some good riding too, all powder. Freddy and those south of Bangor are getting the wet and wild crap. We lost power during the night, so what hand fed stoves rock!

We ended up 5 or 6 inches of SLEET! It weighs the same as 16" of wet snow, but with no redeeming features. It started as rain, then 10 minutes of fluffy wet snow....which was just enough to make every tree a magnet for the sleet to freeze to. It weighed the trees down worse than the ice storm! So... we lost power for an hour last night, got it back for an hour, then lost it all night. Yup.... generator time. What a PITA!! I'm ready for this winter to gasp & die, but it doesn't look like it will..... ever!

1 - 3" of snow, the winds died out of night and the moon was out at 4AM, when I got up to check the fire.
Was +2°F when I got up this morning, right now it is around 9°F.
I have plenty of wood cut and stacked, and about 1/2 a wood bench full so I am good for awhile.
No major drifting I can see out of the house windows. Will have to go out to the shop to feed the cat so I will see what has happened overnight.
Tomorrow we the forecast high is 53°F so here comes
MUD SEASON woohoo.

Per both NOAA and The Weather Channel (and my eyes) we got 5.2 inches of snow in the Medina, OH area. And with the drifting on top of that I struggled getting out of the driveway this morning to get to work. Didn't want to disturb the neighbors by firing up the snow blower at 5:30 AM.
