Sleet, rain, freezing rain, HUGE snowflakes, more sleet, then the thermometer headed south...25 to 35 mph winds all night, blowing snow, can't really tell how much accumulation. 12 degrees right now!!

MANY extra degree days with the penetrating blasts of wind. What's that you say about insulation being overpriced? Not this winter!!!!!!!!!!!(or any winter)

Storm's Over, and it's Damn Good to be Home! Winds sure did feel like the 48-50mph gusts they talked about. For once,The Radar Boys hit this one. Snow had a hard time latching onto anything when it was going sideways. Looked like it was being blown out of a Jet Engine. Put 96 miles in during 18,5 hrs on the job. Was not optimum driving. Damn shame about the Fatalities we experience in Ohio. Folks have got to get a grip(No Pun At All Intended) when it comes down to slowing down and preparing for an instant ice skating rink ahead......Oh Joy,Springs' Closing in as Record Lows were set this a.m. for many Ohio Reporting Locations. I think it's going to be an Advil Night! :help:

I'm sure we'll not get any where near 16" or 20" but we have snow in the forecast for Monday. Bummer, I'm ready for winter to be over. Lisa

Got about 1.5" here - light, fluffy and blowing everywhere. The temp went from the mid 40's on Wednesday to the teens Thursday morning.

Had to go out and dump half a bottle of rubbing alcohol down the door channels of the Blazer, so my wife could get IN it to go to work!

Tomorrow, mid 50's. :o Yard was already a mud pit. Can't imagine what it'll be like once the 8" we still have from late January melts ...

A slow thaw would be nice, I have at least 14 inches on the ground with piles 5 and 6 feet high. Fast thaw = water in the basement from under the walk out door!!

Same thing up here, 4 ft drifts of new powder on top of the old 3 ft ice banks, I thinking of getting a 12v marine bilge pump to drop in my sump pump well for back up in case of a spring outage during the thaw.
