16" to 20" of the white stuff coming!

Well I won't be cutting the grass for a while, and there's a good chance my ugly puss will be silenced due to power outage, this stuff will be the heavy stuff. I am gathering my hand fed cooking devises (coffee pot!) as you read.

Just starting to snow...wind is supposed to roar and to make it even more exciting we might get rain on Saturday. This will really stress some buildings.

OK.... The snow blower is fueled & pointed in the right direction. Hang onto your hats! 10 to 16" for us, but we should hope for the 16. If it's less it will be because it turned to sleet. Bahhhhhh

4 - 8" here, I will most likely shovel the walk and then pack the driveway down and let it go. Too muddy to do much else.
Good thing I played in the mud the last two days, cutting firewood. I have enough cut to last until middle of April now.
I do not have to go far to get the wood as I have two log piles here at the house.
The left hand pile is now mostly gone, I have maybe two cord of logs left to cut out of it. I have about 2-1/2 times that left setting in the pasture that the fence rows were in. Free heat, just the cost of fuel to haul, cut and split it.
Once I get my dump trailer done I will be hauling them up here to the house.
Dan.

It's 41° out here now. Thank God. We've finally got down to just 6" - 8" of snow on the ground after hitting 55° yesterday. We don't need any more!! You guys can take all of ours ... :D

We had rain early then about a 1/4 in. of ice & it's been snowing hard since. Good thing is the wind is blowing so hard that most of the snow ends up along the game lands, bad thing is the wind is blowing so hard. It' all snow but it actually hurts hitting your face, looks like a long night & going down to the low single digits, hopefully not below. Good luck all.
