Hello,

Would an EFM 520 Highboy installed new in 1952 have been tested by an independent agency? If so is there a label that indicates such and where would it be located? I'm filling out a survey for insurance purposes.

Here's a pic after a refurb by Scrapper several years back. Looks better than me and older too!

Thanks in advance, Jim

If you remove the front panel there probably is a nameplate on the front of the boiler between the fire door and the coil mount area. AFAIK that nameplate normally would show the pressure ratings and an ASME H-stamp.
