Lisa, a trip to Alaska involving a boat and a train. I love it! Only thing missing is the dual sport adventure motorcycle. And camping in the back country! Bring you rain gear. I hear they call it liquid sunshine! I just saw a lady earlier today with AK tags, I wondered if NE PA is her summer home? Wanted to ask but missed my opportunity.
Hey Cap, is that the hospital job you mentioned a few weeks back?? Glad you had that quick transition from job to job !
Yes it is. I decided I should accept this career opportunity after hearing the ideas the owner has in regards to my current position. I have accomplished everything I can for this company owner in the 21 months I worked here. He wants to leave equipment stay broken, ignore when possible and bypass PM's. I can't work with that mindset. In my field, some of my work is in the shadows. Just the way it is. Much of it goes unnoticed. He'll be calling in a few months. Either me or someone else. I'm not exactly gonna quit. Just reduce my hrs to null, or when I feel like making a little extra that week. I'll let him go and find his handyman building refinisher.

Hey Freddy, I went to Miller Electric Welding Equipment school at the main factory in Appleton, WI many years ago. This is how I started in the repair business when I was a kid in 1981. I started for a large welding supply company (AIRCO or Air Reduction Co. )working the electric welding repair department, moved onto the industrial & bulk gases end of the business before getting into AC/Refrig. And Airgas contacted me this week. They are looking for people!

Smitty had the high end...
Here goes the low end...
First time on the beach...
Had some sun...
Daddy and his 'oldest' hit the beach...
First one out of the Twins...
Everybody else was back home...
This was her treat because we needed the drops for her pink eye...

Well, I was going to just read thru & not comment, but Rob..... Thanks for those snowy photos, helps me better appreciate our 50*+ today, very little snow cover left, (finally) we had enough of that stuff & lucky us ,we even had the last one miss us. The plow truck looks like ours,F250SD,8.5' Western plow, aluminum flatbed,& the truck is white. Freddy , those blueberry pancakes look delicious,i like mine with lots of butter & maple syrup as the maple syrup doesn't mess up my blood sugar,no coffee uck,Florida's Natural OJ with pulp. This warmer weather makes it difficult for me to eat lunch as the customers tend to come in at lunch, are they hoping to be fed ? or do they just like disrupting my lunch 3+ times,i thought lunch time was lunch time , but not for everyone apparently,& that will be the procedure most Saturdays from here on till July when it typically slows down some, hopefully not too slow. Keep warm up there Rob,& enjoy ?? the snow while it lasts :)

Blueberry pancakes sound fantastic, and I'll drink 'windyhill's' share of coffee( I love good Columbian coffee).

Most all the snow is gone here, and the March winds have been howling. It's beginning to dry the ground up some. More snow for my area tomorrow also.

Started my new driving job last week(Tuesday was orientation), at least this truck doesn't have rust holes in the firewall spraying salt water in my eyes while I'm driving down the road.

A better view of the beach...
No tourists yet...
We might yet get to drive on it...
If they can get "The Plan" approved...

Heh heh! I played 18 in NW Ga today. Hit 70 mid afternoon. I sincerely hope the Global Warming/Climate Change goes away so you guys can get back to normal......Oh sorry, it is normal up there! I will bet there is more snow coming yet. We always got a storm after you think it is all over. They call it mud season.

Hey All!
Well, I have been battling the Flu since last Monday. Damn lil bugs really sap me of my strength. I had to cancel several meetings, including finishing up bucking the BIG Oak.
Weather has been nice. Sunny and mild temps. Just running one DVC-500 at idle.

Rob, that statement is priceless! "I can't see the beach from here". My laughing turned into coughing up a phlem-ball

Smitty, SWEEEET rubber! Use the wide spacers on front to allow for mud & stone sling.

Lisa, the vacation of a lifetime! Your BETTER take pics AND post them when you get back.

I did get out to the shop a couple times while the wife wasn't looking, to try and work on the CH23S Kohler for my z-turn Kubota. All parts on order, and should be arriving early next week. I did manage to clean the Cyls/Heads up somewhat, see attached pics. Just waiting for gasket kit.

As you can see by my numerous recent postings I'm not sleeping tonight - bad headache brought on by the weather. Well, I was right, we are not having school again today due to the snow which continues to fall. Bummer, it looks like school will extend another day or two into Jun, somewhere around the 26th. I half way expect that we will be out again tomorrow because of the road conditions. I'm glad I don't have to make the call and won't second guess those who do. The weather people have forecast no melting; in fact the temperature is supposedly going to drop to the low 20s. I'll have to find something to do around the house. That won't be hard as I tend to put inside things off in lieu of working outside. I hope everyone is warm and dry. Take care, Lisa

I have bright sunshine, with some very high-altitude cirrus clouds. Not a bad day.. it looks warmer than is though, was about -2* this morning, and is only about +25* right now..
supposed to get into the low 40's tomorrow.

Now, to find some ambition and get more things done today. !!

I thought we had it bad at 13°! :o It's made it's way up to 30° now ....

Nice job on the cleanup Chris! ;) Took me forever to get mine clean. Runs great now though - no more breathing oil fumes.
