You guys are on the news with over 3.5 inches of rain.........We don't want any more snow, BUT this is not a gentle meltdown either. Better find a way to plug those drains!!!!    :!:

I'm heading down that way in a bit. The bad stuff must have stayed south. We had a good downpour between 6 and 7 but just drizzle other than that. It also doesn't hurt to live on the second highest point in the state.

Try Warwick NY another flood zone which is acting up as we write this. All the way down to Route 202 and Lincoln Park NJ. If you want real excitement jump in a wooden barrel and travel down the Barryville run on the Delaware. The last time I tried it those crazy PA guys were counting their dead. Under a handful and that was a good year. Now they spoil it and close the more deadly routes and fly helicopters overhead to look for bodies.

You should be OK for the most part. Fire department came by and unblocked the worst drains. Water is receding a bit. I had to go dig some drainage on the opposite side of my street so my driveway would drain a bit.

Been having to open my garage door to let water OUT and wet vac'ing a few areas in the basement.
