Oh, great, this from the guy who couldn't keep track of the guns he sold to the Mexican drug cartel members.

I guess he never heard of the old expression, "A lock only keeps an honest man honest". Maybe he should study criminal behavior instead ?

I'm sorry, but how exactly is a bracelet supposed to make a gun safer? What's stopping someone from putting someone else's bracelet on?

I did a trigger job on my Stevens 200 a while back. It wasn't hard to do, so I will venture a guess that anything that is put on a firearm could be removed/disabled by a relatively intelligent person. Just like the pollution control devices that were installed on 70s an 80s model vehicles.

Or, they just steal the bracelet with the gun - duh !

Every time they figure a way to keep crooks from something, the crooks figure a way around it. The "brilliant ones" who come up with these ideas, never seem to be smart enough to learn that simple lesson, . . but the crooks sure do.

These politicians are all grasping at straws to try to ram through a total ban of firearms - that's their end-game. That;s why we hear this ridiculousness on a daily basis. They say stuff that is so utterly foolish and moronic that I don't even listen to them anymore. I won't comply with any one of their idiotic brainstorms anyway .... and neither will 98% of the population. ;)

I perked up when they said it could be used to shut down any firearms in areas they don't want them like schools. How about when the citizens stand up to an overzealous gov. and their firearms are "jammed" by the gov.? I think I like my gun to be controlled by ME, that is proper gun control.

Yep the booger hook is the best safety for a firearm. Keep it off the trigger till ready to fire and there would be a lot less accidents. :)

Anyone besides me find themselves yelling at the TV everytime I see some Hollyweird hero walking around, holding a firearm with a finger on the trigger, . . and/or muzzle-sweeping friendlies around them ?

And we wonder why the "I wanna be like the TV star" types don't understand firearm safety ?
