If it ever gets sold they will be due. Build a fence to keep his cattle out still much less spent than the stand off. Why send a hired army of cowboys to steal his cows and back it up with armed federal thugs. The drug cartels and illegal immigrants trespass and have been destroying and littering BLM land. Yet BLM does not charge the drug cartels. This was nothing more than a attempt of bulling that failed. Its your way of thinking that is allowing this country to slip away to government overreach. I thought the government was supposed to fear the people. We are not supposed to fear or have a need to fear the government.
Wow FLyer... I think you summed up the entire issue. Well Said, and entirely Accurate.
This was a show of force that went terribly wrong by under estimating the will of the citizens to stand up to tyrannical government. One itchy trigger finger...I don't even want to think about it.
In my life I've seen 3 Government sponsored Murderous actions upon the people, ( Kent State, Ruby, Waco) and the results of Waco spawned Tim McVeigh to attack the Federal Building costing the lives of 160 innocents.
One can only imagine what the armed conflict in the Nevada Desert would have spawned.
