The next Branch Dividian or Ruby Ridge in the Offing?

OK Flyer, didn't really expect you to recall the school but instead of using it for a cop out please answer the questions which are related to this issue through simple similarity, Gov. taking land from individuals is Gov. taking land & most of what I asked about was that of undisputed ownership. I'll even help with the Executive Order #12548.

Flyer, my reference to the trees next to my property may sound humorous to you & did express it in that way but it is very real & very serious I had to pull a broken top down so it wouldn't hit my garage & there are Eagles that were none too happy. Their nest is at least 50 Ft. from where I was, I'm guessing they have some eggs in their nest.

Honestly Sam if you are OK with the govt overstepping Americans rights and using firearms to do so. That is your right to feel that way. I do not like it. If you follow the whole story it is not about the money. What I see from that standoff really raises some concern of where we as a nation are headed. Americans ready to kill other Americans? Then slimy politicians smirking about it. Really ? You see nothing wrong here?

Thanks for honestly answering my questions (not)but I did pretty much dig up as much as I could so I will give you to short answer, this has been going on for a long time & has once again gone thru the court system. Mr. Bundy naturally doesn't agree & threatens armed violence. Would you like to go knock on his door (if allowed to get that far) & try to tell him about once again being in violation or would you prefer to be armed & have armed back-up? I would want to be armed. The property he was having cattle graze on was not his & he refused to pay grazing fee's for decades, I did look some stuff up, by the way the grazing fees were put there by "President Reagan" of all people, the property in question was never in his family as claimed & proven in court.
I got tired of reading (or trying to)boring court records & ran across this which has some of them listed. Granted it is a left leaning site but no more so than others are right. It does however supply sources.

Now Flyer you tell me that there is much difference between the Keystone Pipeline BS & your Bundy claim other than proof positive of property ownership & a Foreign Country doing it instead of ours.

Sam its not about the land or the rights to the land. Its about a overreaching government. 200 armed BLM agents? Why not just place a lien on his property. If it ever gets sold they will be due. Build a fence to keep his cattle out still much less spent than the stand off. Why send a hired army of cowboys to steal his cows and back it up with armed federal thugs. The drug cartels and illegal immigrants trespass and have been destroying and littering BLM land. Yet BLM does not charge the drug cartels. This was nothing more than a attempt of bulling that failed. Its your way of thinking that is allowing this country to slip away to government overreach. I thought the government was supposed to fear the people. We are not supposed to fear or have a need to fear the government.

Wow FLyer... I think you summed up the entire issue. Well Said, and entirely Accurate.

This was a show of force that went terribly wrong by under estimating the will of the citizens to stand up to tyrannical government. One itchy trigger finger...I don't even want to think about it.
In my life I've seen 3 Government sponsored Murderous actions upon the people, ( Kent State, Ruby, Waco) and the results of Waco spawned Tim McVeigh to attack the Federal Building costing the lives of 160 innocents.
One can only imagine what the armed conflict in the Nevada Desert would have spawned.

This is the last I'll post on this subject, if you all believe that your individual thoughts trump all constitutional laws then have at it.

You keep going back to the taxes Sam. The problem I see is the Fed government is side stepping the constitution by having these thug type armies for policing American citizens. And people like you think its great. More government to take care of me in my golden years oh boy! What I see is the freedoms my daughter will never see. Its because as long as people like you keep voting for more and more socialism and larger government and feel good programs our nation is gone. Look at the joke our current clown and chief has already made of us world wide. There is no accountability in government they just resign and get placed in another area. Its about time that they see we will not be bullied, we will not cower. The picture of the man on the bridge covering his fellow citizens is a picture of hope against Tyranny. And before you say it was wrong or illegal for him to do that I say BS. Our constitution and founding fathers say differently.

Excellent, Flyer5! Send those BLM thugs down to Texas and reclaim all the acres of US property that we AMERICANS are not allowed to set foot on because the drug cartels have claimed it as their own. You are dead on about samhill's warped reasoning but you know that is a lost cause.

We know Sam a fixation is a tough thing to fix but we are trying to help you. Stick this on the toilet door and after sitting and thinking for a while the light bulb may go on:

It's self-help, sam, trying to understand the workings of a Democratic mind that can warp reality like approaching light speed.
