Heat Reclaimer on a Anthracite Coal Stove

A desription of a the product to add to my stoker follows: Magic Heat™ Reclaimer consists of 10 heat–exchanger tubes and a thermostatically controlled fan to blow warmed air into the room. Turns on at 150° and off at 110°F. 115 Volts. Produces 225 CFM and 8000 to 30,000 BTU.

I was told that using one of these on a coal stove might not be a good idea as they are low draft. I thought that this device not letting the stove pipe go below 110 degrees would/might be able to maintain the minimum draft. My guess is that when I start a fire the stoker I have starts to draft beofore the pipe is at 110 degress. I would guess that you shouldn't use these when its 50 degrees outside, but when the temp difference between the air in the pipe and the outside is the greatest. This would seem to more efficiently supplement the dampers job of cooling the air going out the stove pipe.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience using a heat reclaiming on a coal stoker?
