7-ton mark is quickly approaching. I have the Mark 3 still pushin BTU's in the basement. 2 weeks until I punch a hole in the basement wall and set in the Van Wert. It will be awesome having a nice walkout basement door soon not to mention a boiler! June is the big plumbing install so already lookin forward to next heating season. Just after a nice summer im hoping.

I anticipate to continue burning till mid May. That is two weeks longer than I've ever had to burn..

And I will be close to the end of 6 tons which is nearly a full ton more than last year! Wow..

Approaching the four ton mark on the same match since early November. Would have struck it earlier but I was reconfiguring the bin location and loading zone which took some time. Vigilant II is idling most of the time at 230-260°F, measured at the outlet collar. Haven't reduced the firebox size yet. Looking forward into the second week of May, I can't see when I'll let it go out but it's got to be getting close. There were a few days when we hit the mid 70's a couple of weekends ago and I had the window-stats working but after this winter and my lousy joints, 77°F while sitting in the kitchen felt great :D

That's where I will be ... 6 tons for the season...

A few years ago I had to run into June because of rain and chilliness.

Hope to burn straight through summer into fall with the Tarm boiler. Right now it is burning about 25 pounds a day, but I bet it could keep burning at 20 pounds a day. The Samson controller works really well at keeping the fire burning. I love my boiler!!

That's the air fuel ratio getting too lean.
