Gene - I guess you're interested in my Stewart 171 as a way to price yours.

Please post pictures of yours and then I'll comment. I have original Stewart catalogs, which have info on the company. Philo P. Stewart was a prolific inventor and founder of the P.P. Stewart Company. He died in 1868. He licensed Fuller and Warren of Troy NY to manufacture stoves of his design. They were always marketed as Stewarts. Fuller and Warren had other lines of stoves they sold under that company name

I believe there are a couple of other members who have Stewarts, as well.

Condition is everything - hence hi/lo price.

Pictures please - Chris

Gene,
You can also try contacting the Albany Institute Of History and Art. http://www.albanyinstitute.org/

They have a lot of info and artifacts in connection with the New York stove manufacturers, especially those in the Albany/Troy area such as Fuller and Warren. They may be able to tell you more, such as if your stove was built in Troy, or Fuller and Warren's other plant(s) out west.
