I'm a bit late with the update ... but in the end, things ended up not to bad considering the moonbattery that usually comes out of Beacon Hill.
Long story short, H.4121 had morphed into H.4376. In the end, the bill that is headed to the governor's desk is a far cry from the anti-gun, pro-criminal, typical progressive piece of trash it started out as. Definitely not an ideal bill, but it is MUCH better than I, personally, had expected out of this state. Many much needed changes were made, but of course, a few less than ideal progressive "solutions" infected the bill. Even still, this is by far a MUCH bigger success than I ever could have imagined in this state!
Had gun owners sat on their hands, we would have been looking at private gun sales being ILLEGAL ... ... and your gun purchases being limited to ONE gun per MONTH. How these progressives think this will somehow cause criminals to lay down their weapons & turn themselves in, I'll never get a grasp on ....
I would like to publicly thank GOAL for their efforts in this fight! I don't think we would've stood a chance in hell without them. I HIGHLY encourage all MA residents to donate or join this organization!
Anyway, here is the summary of this epic battle from GOAL:
