An Article Worthy of Discusssion.

Here is a brief article which sums up the basic state of our Society and Nation at this point. The reason I posted it is because I have felt this way for some time.
The opinion here is pretty blunt which I like.

The master tech I apprentice with sometimes has a saying, "When the pain becomes too great, change occurs."

For the vast majority, the pain is just a mild discomfort. So "doing something" beyond the online petitions and the occasional rally is likely to hurt you more that help the situation so there isn't any point doing more.

Just be aware, educate yourself and those around you, and monitor the pain level of the country.

The United States is becoming like the Hotel California. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. The USA chases you for taxes on income earned everywhere on earth, even if you no longer live in the USA. There is even a draconian "Exit Tax" for those who are both wealthy and renounce US citizenship, and it factors in such things as unrealized future gains and income. No other civilized nation on earth treats its own this way. Try to prove that you are free, and suffer the punishing consequences of it. Something is seriously wrong here. Freedom implies the freedom to leave.

Just as the "Income Tax" was originally imposed only upon the 1%, the exit tax (which went into effect on June 17, 2008) will soon be broadened downward until it reaches all of us.

I think the last place I heard of with an exit tax was Germany circa 1939.

To avoid that a family friend took his money out in the form of art works despised by the Nazis. He made out very well.
