Guess it isn't as bad as I thought...called a different trucking company and got a much better price. Overall cost per ton should end up being the same as last year.Rob R. wrote:I think a lot of people will see a price increase this year. I am in the process of ordering a load of bagged coal, and the freight quotes are the highest I have gotten since 2008 when diesel was $5/gal.
Unless I can arrange cheaper trucking, my cost will go up $19 per ton compared to last year.

I just got 3 ton of Blaschak rice delivered from Forrest Inn Masonry in Lehighton, Pa for $233 first ton and $218 a ton for anything over the first ton. This will be my first year burning Blaschak, I tried a few bags last winter and it burned much better than what I had from a different supplier so I switched this year.
you'll be happy with Blaschak..I'm glad I made the switch last winterytseman3 wrote:I just got 3 ton of Blaschak rice delivered from Forrest Inn Masonry in Lehighton, Pa for $233 first ton and $218 a ton for anything over the first ton.
