LOL, she'd certainly be worried about if she had none. Someone from the media should challenge her to live off a generous $2500 for one moth.

I would bet she couldn't do 10,000/ month

Probably not if she stays in Manhattan. However, she could do alright on $2500.00 a month around here only four hours away.

Most people could. I would doubt if she personally could. Her hair dresser is probably at least 10k a month.

I haven't read it yet but as of July 1st (I believe it is Romney may well be doing something illegal) at least for most I'm sure his people have found an out. It has something to do with foreign accounts & having to declare & pay tax.
Lucky enough for me Flyer I didn't have to move any foreign accounts around. phew!

If it is a loop hole someone allowed it. I have not seen an article yet that says that he did anything illegal or any proof of it. If he is cheating I hope it burns him. But I bet he is staying within the law. Until the law is changed I do not fault him, If he found a loop hole, I do not fault him either. I will do whatever I can legally to not pay more than I owe.

You will have to excuse me now I have to make some calls to the cayman Islands and talk to my banker. I hope he has good news for me. The jet is fueling up as well :)

The more complex the tax code gets the more loop holes it makes.

The tax laws stopping that are like the IRS trying to win at Whack-A-Mole by making more moles !

Time again for two words - flat tax.

"Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes. Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands."
