My husband and I are cleaning out the house & barn in case we need to move (getting older...). In 1973 we removed a Hercules coal furnace from its cement (?) pad in the cellar & stored it in the barn in pieces. We've now removed all the stuff around it, and hope to do something with it other than sell it as scrap metal... don't know where or how to start.
Its door & other iron parts are lightly rusted (cellar was damp; barn is dry). Probably dates to 1920s-early 1930s. Can send photos. Thinking in terms of best offer + shipping. We live in central Maine.
Who would be interested in this? Anywhere else I should post my query?
