Hand Fed Coal Stove: Harman SF-250

Post by Siphen » Wed. Jul. 02, 2014 8:35 am

Hello everyone,

My Aunt and Uncle recently purchased a coal/wood stove off craigslist.

The stove is a Coal Cracker II by Smiley MFG. Huntington Mills, PA
I am including a photo I have taken of the specs plate on the stove.

I can not for the life of me find any information online regarding the manufacturer. Has anyone heard of or had any experience with these stoves?

Found this very small bit of information.

http://www.bizapedia.com/pa/SMILEY-MANUFACTURING.html

The principal and a relative also seem to be (or were) involved in the coal industry. Metcalf Rotary Equipment Services.

Not much to go on!

Can you give us a picture of the entire stove front, sides, and back?
