Replaced my sump...
Thanks HD...
173 GPM no head...
it is a sewage ejector that handles 2" solids...
It gets cut to 70/90 GPM depending...
It is actually an outdoor sump to keep the backyard from turning into a lake...
Will check out the yard in the am to see what happened over night...
Watched the storm the rain bands setup over new bedford...
I was in Wareham getting the pump in the am and it was comming down in buckets...
It was sunny in harwich and the rain stopped at the bridge...
It took till 4 pm to hit hyannis then moved up cape...

Nothing but steady rain for 6-7 hours here in northeastern Ct.; not even a breeze. Should be enough rain to bring the JD GT 235 out of retirement by Sunday or Monday if the sun returns as forecast tomorrow.

It's very nice that the NE seemingly got by with minimal damage. Very nice to hear from the east coasters that all is well, nice to hear that they have survived to enjoy a beautiful week end.

I know a lot of people had some bad weather but yesterday was one of those near perfect days here in NEPA. Started out with a little cloud cover with the sun peeking through and just improved until the afternoon with giant white puffy clouds and a deep blue sky. Nice breeze and nice temperatures the whole day.

Funny, the news reports the storm is gone, over, finished. My brother called from coastal Eastern Maine and it is a gale force wind and raining sideways. Trees down everywhere and power out. Nothing to see here folks, move along...... :?

We were actually hoping that some of the rain would fall here as it has been dry. We had 8/10ths this week but that did little more than settle the dust . It will prolong most plant life a few more days. We woke up yesterday a/m to 62* & breezy, as the day went on the wind gusted over 30 mph with temps in mid 70's,awesome day, this a/m 56* breezy, beautiful again, forecast to go up to 81* & breezy.Sorry to hear some are still battling for their lives with Arthur moving thru.

2.25" of rain...
less than 1% power outage...
The storm went further east...
Just 25 miles makes a big change in weather...
Clear blue skies 75 cool and dry...
Now had the storm gone further west...
Maine and the maritimes getting clobbered...

We had 3.5" of rain yesterday and some pretty nasty winds, lots of downed trees and power outages. But despite the bad weather it was a good weekend , celebrated our youngests 1st bday. Weather didn't bother him a bit:)

Yep - doncha know the USA begins at D.C. and ends at Boston? :| If you watch the mainstream news, that seems to be their line of thinking. We get the same sort of coverage from the local stations - they think MA begins and ends at Rt.495 ... We all still *censored* in outhouses out here!

We got nothing out of that storm. Not even a stiff breeze! Got just under 2" of much needed rain in 2 days though. Even after all that, my basement is still DRY. Goes to show just how dry it was here! ;)

Maine would have got clobbered? LOL! My son got power back tonight. Still many trees to clean up and others are still without power. Yeah, I know, Washington County is in New Brunswick.
