This is what it's looking like for the Fall. It will be a very pleasant Fall with pretty leaves this year. This is the nice precursor to what follows.

Here is the forecast for September and October. It should be very pleasant for us and somewhat dry (excepting a Hurricane up the coast) A good harvest for all.
Now, the weather site is saying that November might turn out much colder than earlier anticipated.
As, far as getting ready, I'm behind the eight ball because of getting put in the Hospital and not being able to do anything. I still have to go get pipe for the No 6 and buy coal.
Somehow, it will all come together.
I love October, I want to enjoy the changing leaves without incessant worrying.

Thanx WS Good to hear from you. I've been hoping for an Indian summer, on Oct 10, not only do I get my reattach surgery but he's also gonna fix double hernia due to prior surgery. No lifting over 5 lbs for 2 mos.:wtf: over! Gotta get me one of them thar hernia girdles. I got a neighbor that will tend the HITZER once a day after milking so I'll not have her cranked way up--I just had $800.00 of kero delivered (ouch) so as painful as it is hearing that furnace kick on-- I'm hoping for the best weather wise.

Per the 3 month November, December, and January outlook that was recently released by the NOAA, most of us are in for warmer than normal temperatures this winter.

"A" means above average, "EC" means equal chance of being average, and "B" means below average.

http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/p ... 3_temp.gif

NOAA stands for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. A US Government organization.
