EPA can garnish your wages with no court approval necessary

The EPA has granted itself an amazing power to hurt those individuals it doesn't like that trumps the Constitution and our courts and is above all rule of law.

Sounds to me that it isn't as easy as your heading implies, unless all the steps listed are a bunch of bull.

You can look it up & read the whole boring law for yourself if you wish, it's easy to do.
Heck I didn't even realize Obama was in office then & that it covers most Fed. Agencies not just the EPA.

Why bring Obama into discussions that make no mention of him? Establishment chosen Reps and Dems are equally to blame for our neo-fascist Oligarchic Monarchy.

While I'll agree that both parties share blame, not only does the article lean toward putting the blame on the currant administration thru out but the last paragraph illustrates that the collection of fines has greatly increased since 2009 under Obama. Now I ask is that because there is finally someone that is doing their job of collecting fines or was it simply that there were less violations & or enforcement? Keeping in mind that the whole part about garnishing wages leaves one to think that they are coming after the average Jane or Joe IMHO & not after the huge profit of big oil & others where there are rumors of possible violations every now & again. I often wondered where the money from these large fines ever ended up or were they simply bargained (Ha Ha ) down.
I have learned on here that everything deemed bad is Obama's fault unless it's brought up by someone that leans that direction. ;)

That is true only to a first approximation. The real scary thing is that you don't see any of it.

Let's see. MEDIA MATTERS................ Oh yea, that's a George Soros founded/funded organization. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. Google George Soros if you want something to read about history and especially look at his childhood helping the Nazi's, his ruination of at least 4 countries' monetary system for his own gain and his sights set on us.

Speaking of the EPA, enjoy your peaches before the trees go the way of the chestnut trees. The EPA banned a pesticide from being used on peach trees back in about 2009 because the THOUGHT that it MIGHT cause harm to the ozone layer, which is now old-school scare tactics but peach trees are being decimated.

TJ, if you bother to read the second sentence in what you quoted you will note that you can look it up for yourself. Old man Soros was indeed no saint but as long as your such a history buff of that time you know all about where the Nazi's got a lot of their cleansing thoughts from. I'm fairly sure that it's the younger Soros that is active in backing politics, not even sure if the old man is alive, I know the peach trees in my area are OK but there again they are the small orchards that worry more about continued growing instead of fast profit, they don't have the lobby protection to get them the OK to use certain things. It may be a growing zone thing that some trees need it while others don't, peaches were around for a long time before the EPA.

.
.
The EPA has claimed this new authority by citing the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, which gives all federal agencies the power to conduct administrative wage garnishment, provided that the agency allows for hearings at which debtors can challenge the amount or the terms of a repayment schedule….

Time for a little HONESTY, Larry. The above quotation is directly from the Fox No-News article. It says “all federal agencies” have had the authority for 18 years. :!: Why focus on the EPA? And what do you have against the EPA anyway, except that it DOES have some stupid rules amidst the good ones. I for one have no wish to go back to the extremes of air, water, and land pollution that I grew up with. And I grew up in Maine, which was an oasis of cleanliness compared to many areas. Do YOU want to go back to rivers that catch fire, Larry? Because if you do, we could be there in a surprisingly short time, simply by killing the EPA.

Time for some more HONESTY, Larry. To quote again from the Fox No-News article:
The amount of money the EPA has collected in fines has increased steadily since President Obama took office.
Sam didn't bring in Obama, Fox did. (Fox, the network for angry old men, as it is known.)

Again from our Fair and Balanced friends:
The plan has drawn protests from conservatives, including Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo.

Republican, eh? The party screaming that President Obama’s administration won’t enforce the law, is now complaining that President Obama’s administration IS enforcing the law? So why doesn’t Barasshole of Wyoming introduce legislation to change the law? – that’s his job, after all.
