.The EPA has claimed this new authority by citing the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, which gives all federal agencies the power to conduct administrative wage garnishment, provided that the agency allows for hearings at which debtors can challenge the amount or the terms of a repayment schedule….
Time for a little HONESTY, Larry. The above quotation is directly from the Fox No-News article. It says “all federal agencies” have had the authority for 18 years.
Why focus on the EPA? And what do you have against the EPA anyway, except that it DOES have some stupid rules amidst the good ones. I for one have no wish to go back to the extremes of air, water, and land pollution that I grew up with. And I grew up in Maine, which was an oasis of cleanliness compared to many areas. Do YOU want to go back to rivers that catch fire, Larry? Because if you do, we could be there in a surprisingly short time, simply by killing the EPA.

Why bring Obama into discussions that make no mention of him?
Time for some more HONESTY, Larry. To quote again from the Fox No-News article:The amount of money the EPA has collected in fines has increased steadily since President Obama took office.
Sam didn't bring in Obama, Fox did. (Fox, the network for angry old men, as it is known.)
Again from our Fair and Balanced friends:
The plan has drawn protests from conservatives, including Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo.
Republican, eh? The party screaming that President Obama’s administration won’t enforce the law, is now complaining that President Obama’s administration IS enforcing the law? So why doesn’t Barasshole of Wyoming introduce legislation to change the law? – that’s his job, after all.
