There are a lot fewer places to buy coal here in the north woods or above the notches so to speak. Where I buy my coal is $395.00 for a pallet which is 2400 LBS 60, 40 LB bags. So when I see you are paying $295.00 for a ton I am paying $100.00 more for 400 LBS. But I hope everyone enjoys their coal stove still a lot cheaper than oil.

Where are you located? Maybe there are members close by and can point you in a better direction.
