Not sure what that installer meant by being difficult. Hardest part for me was using Paint...don't laugh.
Secondly to the circulator. Its the hot L1 (to switch) from the transformers to the left side of the pump end switch portion of the controller then from the right side of it to the cirulator.
Connect to both circulator wires? No, only L1 from the transformers to left side of switch >>>right side of switch will be 1 circulator wire >>>then the other circulator wire only splices to L2 from the transformers.
I can almost feel it getting toasty in here now!
It will be well worth the effort, I'm sure.
WL110 Plumbed in...Now on to the Wiring.

No, doesn't matter.Z10396 wrote:Does it matter which circulator wire connects to the switch and which connects to L2?
All hooked up! Now on to the dump zone. Remember...I want to rig it up so all three of my zones are used as the dump. I tried to follow Plummer's advice but I am lost. ThanksMcGiever wrote:No, doesn't matter.Z10396 wrote:Does it matter which circulator wire connects to the switch and which connects to L2?

So I flipped the breaker and put power to the unit. The fan and feed stoker motor arent running even when I turn the switch. The circulater is running and Taco controler seem okay from what I can tell. Didn't make any progress on the dump zone portion. I am thinking about setting it up to fire with oil first just to get some heat going back in to the house. Any thoughts.

First best guess...the LWCO is not allowing 120 volt to get past it.
Is water level good in/for the switch/LWCO?
Will you be able to use a volt meter, and have access to one?

Yep, I have a volt meter. I powered it up and the green power light and the red light to indicate low water were illuminated on the LWCO. I put water to the system and the red light went out. The fan nor the stoker came on before or after. I did plug in the oil gun and that seemed to kick on.McGiever wrote:First best guess...the LWCO is not allowing 120 volt to get past it.

Did you run the 24 volt wire from Taco Pnl. to the Aquastat?
And did you wire all the thermostats in the Taco Pnl. the same as the first one?
So if your running on oil...then I guess the Taco would be working fine...must be something else.

Yeah, the oil gun came on and went off. The aquastat illuminated when it was toggled over for oil.McGiever wrote:Did you run the 24 volt wire from Taco Pnl. to the Aquastat? Yes

Okay...Check and see if L6006A Aquastat is turned up to 205 degrees F.
Then you are saying The L7224 aquastat DID NOT illuminated when it was toggled over for coal?
What do you mean..

Did it heat the house up?.the oil gun came on and went off
One of the low voltage wire to the L7224 was loose. The fan and stoker run now but they don't turn off with the knobs and I couldn't vary the speeds with the knobs either. Just to clarify, I am not hooked up to heat and I do not have the 6006 hooked up at all at this point.McGiever wrote:Okay...Check and see if L6006A Aquastat is turned up to 205 degrees F.

Besides the Dump Zones needing wired to the L6006, there should of been factory wiring already in there...you saying no wiring at all?

The oil shut itself off after a short run...How long?
