Don't be overwhelmed...your part is very tiny. :)

Top right on pg. 15. Your circuit...L1 (black), L2 (white) and ground (green or bare).

Directly to the left of that...Your Fused Switch replaces the factory switch (if yours fits in existing factory box)

Remember: Switch only the black and/or red wires and splice all the white wires in 1 big wire nut.

Let me know when you have that much done. :)

Almost there...need a cable run #12/2 (120volt) from the L6006a aquastat on the boiler to the Taco Panel to activate whatever you chose to use for your Dump Zone circulator.

Complete this and then we'll talk 24 volt controls. :)

Okay, so my circuit runs in to a junction box. I do not have a fused switch, such as firematic.

Electrically fused...not thermally fused, see, it will fit in the electric box and replace the factory switch.

I already said the junction box was all good, just need to get that circuit on the boiler as how I explained above earlier :)

So my switch is replacing the factory switch. I mounted my switch to my panel board with the taco controller. So from my switch, I go where? What connects to the fuel selector?

From your switch to the wires in your hand in that picture.

I didn't buy a fused switch, I am assuming I should stop and get one somewhere. So, I should be good then as far as what I have done so far to this?

I think what Plummer said led to my confusion about where to go from the service switch. " Out of the LWCO to a service switch, then to L1 and L2 on the aquastat. All your wiring from the firematic should be #14 THHN in EMT or BX. Remember only the hot gets switched keep a common neutral to L2"

I think his reference to "service switch" is meaning a local switch on or very near the boiler to switch off all power on the boiler for "service/maintaince work".

And having it fused smaller [less amps] could save/protect expensive parts on the boiler that the larger electric panel circuit breaker would not protect.

How many amps do you recommend I get?
