You can upload short video clips directly to the Coal board.. longer more bandwidth intensive videos, I use YouTube..

Once winter comes, I can make final adjustments on the length of the chain

Nice work man! I'm still worried the stove will get too hot during a call for heat. Keep in mind you may need a way to regulate this.. It may be as simple as wiring a snap switch to the front of the furnace (or the flue pipe) in series with the actuator to cut power to it during a call for heat when the stove gets to a specific temperature, say 375 over the load door.. :)

I agree, I just have to find one that's adjustable

Your furnaces may already use a a safety high limit cut off if you run a *combination* *fan/limit* in the plenum.
One switch to cycle fan on and off and another switch to shut down the burner if over temp condition is reached.

Typically the High Limit portion is factory fixed at 200*F max plenum air temp to open the circuit. The Fan Switch portion is adjustable for the on and off set points and they do see plenty of use for heating. However, the desire is that the High Limit Never gets used...but it is easier to sleep knowing you're protected. ;)

If this were a furnace fired by another fuel (liquids/gases) it would cut off the fuel supply by the same way.

Wire the high limit in there as a single pole switch in series to shut off or open power to the actuator circuit.

If your furnaces are now using snap switches only. Then you may add another one to get the new job done as well.

And some are adjustable. :)

The only control my furnace has is a snap disk that turns on my plenum fan at 130 degrees stove temp in the rear, those snap disk would work, will just have to decide which one to use

Right.. our furnaces don't have forced air combustion. It draws primary combustion air by way of chimney draft pressure like most freestanding stoves..

Don't pass up a fan/limit if you come across one, it will work.
Here was my disclaimer :) ...
