I'm in the process of installing a Hitzer 503 coal stove in my house. I'm new to coal heat, maintenance, and the purchasing of coal. I am interested in bagged coal close to Delaware County. Any help?

Thanks,
GG

There are a few places in Chester County in the Oxford / Quarryville area, not sure if that is too far for you.

Somebody from SE PA may have a source in DE County that would be closer but I don't remember any.

Lutzes Coal Yard sells bagged blackshak,

I am in Del County PA as well but I get a 5 ton bulk delivery each year, not bagged and not from them.

I like to go to Hillsiide Acres Stove outlet in Quarryville Pa. They sell coal and Hitzer stoves. Nice place, Good people. I bought my stove there in August . They gave everyone who bought a stove , 1,000 #s of coal . Was a good deal.

Loup,

Call Lutz in Skippack. I have already seen their truck on the Blue Route headed south from Conshohocken. There may be a minimum amount for down your way but not sure.

Exactly where in Delco are you ??? Just the town name will suffice.

Im in Glen Mills off 202 and rt1. I called both places they " were not sure" guess I will wait for a confirmation call back.
Im surprised that there is not one supplier in Delaware county. Guess natural gass pushed them all out.
Thanks any additional info will be appreciated.
